Chipping Norton Theatre says farewell to Director Caroline Sharman at the end of June. Caroline arrived in town in 2002 with husband Alonso and family and, during the 6 years since she took over from Tamara Malcolm, has had a lively and successful impact on the life of The Theatre.

During her time she has toured opera round the villages, initiated Movies on the Move, forged international collaborations in particular with France, overseen the building of The Space and led many community initiatives around the Town with all the schools. She has also directed the last 5 of the famous Chippy pantos to packed houses.
Caroline is moving with her family to Portsmouth, where she will become Director of The New Theatre Royal. She hands over the reins to John Terr
