The Theatre Chipping Norton is proud to present Cotswold Originals, a season of intimate gigs with some of the country's most acclaimed folk talent.  Kicking off with the Kathryn Tickell band this Saturday (one seat left at time of writing), The Shee, Jim Moray and Lau will also be joining us over the rest of the summer and into Autumn.

We have scoured the country for these acts – musicians who are taking our traditional folk music culture to new levels and new audiences. Some are already world-class acts, with a pocketful of awards and press acclaim behind them, others are just breaking onto the scene, but are destined for great things. Working together with Oxford Contemporary Music, we are proud to bring you one of the highest calibre line-ups you will find this summer.

Friday 17th July - The Shee, an exceptional, all female band who are taking the folk world by storm.

Saturday 26th September - Jim Moray and his band use traditional instruments and digital technology to deliver a unique brand of folk storytelling.
